Confident Communication allows us to take responsibility for ourselves and our actions without judging or blaming other people and allows for a collaborative conversation. This interactive workshop will look at communication as a way to empower you to develop boundaries with people, allowing you to have your needs met without pushing others away or allowing yourself to feel anger and resentment. The goal of Confident Communication is to develop an environment of collaboration and growth. All welcome.

October 16 Tune into CBC’s Alberta at Noon for a one-hour program and hear from conflict resolution practitioners from the public and private sector on ways to handle conflict in healthy ways and services you can access. Ask your questions on how do deal with difficult people and ways to resolve issues in productive and healthy ways. Learning from Conflict CONTEST! September 11-October 18 A message from the creator of Workplace Fairness West: My latest blog focuses on learnings from conflict from a conflict resolution professional's perspective. In conjunction with October’s Conflict Resolution Day I have launched a contest to encourage others to share their own learning from conflict. Free Telephone-based Service Trident Foundation Oct 18 The Trident Foundation offers such services as mediation, counseling, and support. On this special day, the Foundation provides public opportunities to access no fee Public Legal Education and Information. The Trident Foundation serves with others to guide and focus a University, government, and community based international Public Legal Education and Information (PLEI) initiative.
This is a multi-disciplinary, inter-organisational and collaborative undertaking to, for example: - Explore opportunities for domestic and international partnerships related to the intersection of PLEI and public well-being, including legal, informational, educational, counseling, business, and related aspects. - Serve as a thought-innovator to develop inclusive, holistic research, education, and practices to support operant learning, as well as explore technological and other disparities.
